g.eXpert teams work with schools, companies, and government agencies to make them more productive, mobile, and collaborative by using Google Cloud products to get their work done. The g.eXpert Training team aims to develop a creative and engaging learning experience to help our customers succeed with Google Cloud Platform products.

As a Technical Curriculum Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain technical learning content and curricula for various cloud roles including Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Business Intelligence professionals, and Developers.

Duties:

• Develop technical training from Google Cloud’s Infrastructure Modernization, Hybrid and Multi-Cloud, and Networking and Security learning paths for diverse audiences (e.g., customers, partners).
• Make learning assets and paths for strategic customers and tailor content for those audiences as needed.
• Review, update, audit and other Curriculum Devleopers work.
• Provide direct field feedback to the wider Curriculum Development team on content being delivered and act as a SME on new content or updates to existing content.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Information Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience as a technical instructor, in technical training curriculum development, or as a data engineer or data scientist.
• Experience with cloud computing technologies.
• Strong leadership skills
• Agile mindset to improve iteratively, rather than placing big long term bets
• Excellent communication skills
• Communicates well in both written and verbal English

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Instructional Design, Technical Communications, or a related discipline.
• Experience coding in Python, using data science libraries (e.g., NumPy, pandas, etc.), and creating Jupyter notebooks.
• Experience creating and managing demonstration sites and labs by collaborating with highly technical subject matter experts and managers to develop training content.
• Excellent communication, writing, and editing skills for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development, including effectively explaining technical topics to novice or non-technical audiences.
• Experience building/maintaining on-premises or public cloud infrastructures.
