Description:

In this role, you will deliver training to customers, partners, and teams. You will explain complex Cloud technologies in a way that engages and inspires technical professionals. You will deliver training to all of our learners. You will validate the correctness of the materials, set appropriate expectations before and during the class, and ensure learner satisfaction. You will evaluate, audit, and potentially coach other trainers, in particular external trainers that work for our training partners. You will also deliver courses from the Cloud Infrastructure curriculum.

While the focus will be on technical training classes, you will have opportunities to help scope learning plans for strategic customers and tailor course content to specific customer needs. You will provide feedback to the Curriculum Development Team to ensure ongoing high impact of the materials, and will be asked to act as a SME on new content creation.

Duties:

• Deliver technical training from Google Cloud’s Infrastructure Modernization, Hybrid and Multi-Cloud, and Networking and Security learning paths to diverse audiences (e.g., customers, partners).
• Make learning plans for strategic customers and tailor content for those audiences as needed.
• Evaluate, train, audit, and coach other trainers (internal instructors as well as external training partners).
• Provide direct field feedback to the Curriculum Development team on content being delivered and act as a SME on new content or updates to existing content.

Minimum Requirements

• 4 years of experience with client-facing technical consulting/training delivery.
• Experience reading code used with Google Cloud in languages such as Python, Java, NET, Node.js.
• Experience with Infrastructure As Code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible).
• Experience explaining code in a classroom environment.
• Strong leadership skills
• Agile mindset to improve iteratively, rather than placing big long term bets
• Excellent communication skills
• Communicates well in both written and verbal English

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience delivering technical training on topics such as networking, architecting, and/or security.
• Experience providing training to diverse audiences, including software developers and professionals.
• Experience creating, maintaining, or delivering technical content in a fast-moving technology area.
• Experience mentoring technical professionals adopting new technologies.
• Experience building/maintaining on-premises or public cloud infrastructures.
• Experience building/maintaining on-premises or public cloud infrastructures.
